In an attempt to keep the logo simple, easy to draw and recreate using free-hand while retaining the idea across both digital and print Medias. All elements were picked from guidelines.
The rationale behind this logo was inspired by the Creative Commons official logo to focus on bringing people together for the CC 2015 global summit using a masterstroke of design simplicity, and a brilliant way to portray collaboration, openness and sharing intent. Vibrant color palette was used to represent both the colors found on the Korean flag and the Creative Commons official logo. Akzidenz-Grotesk an elegant and bold typeface created in the 19th century by Gunter Gerhard Lange was chosen to keep the overall concept young and vibrant feeling of the concept.
